Governance
We are lucky to have a strong and committed Governing Body who understands our community and work with us to achieve our vision.
Governors are there to set the strategic direction of the individual settings and overall Federation and to quality assure the work of school leaders. All of our Governors have a strong connection to the local community and are committed to the young people in all our settings having the best educational experience possible.
Governance is so important and if you are interested in joining the Governing Body or would just like to find out more, then please contact Jade Driscoll, Federation Lead/Headteacher.
The Governors meet on a termly basis as a full Governing Body. However, they also play a very active role outside of these meetings. This could be as a link Governor to an area of school development i.e. Health and Safety, Safeguarding, SEND etc. or at one of the other subcommittees that meet termly. These are:
- Finance & General Purposes
- Strategic Development
- Curriculum, Standards, Quality
There are further details on the subcommittees and their remits below.
