Complaints
We are committed to working closely with parents and carers for the benefit of our students. No problem is too small and can often be prevented from becoming a bigger issue if you discuss it with us straight away. If you have a complaint, you should follow the procedure set out below:
Complaints Procedure
- Speak to your child’s class teacher or Learning Manager. The member of staff will listen to your concerns and will follow up issues arising.
- If you are not satisfied with the response, you can submit an informal concern in line with Stage One of the Complaints Procedure.
- If you are still not satisfied with the response from the school, you can escalate the concern to Stage Two of the Complaints Procedure, which is the beginning of a formal process.
- If you continue to feel that your issue has not been resolved, you can write to the Chair of the School’s Governing Body, Mr Peter Swann via governors@riverviewfos.com. A Complaint Panel will be convened .
- After this, if you are still not satisfied with the outcome, you can appeal to the Secretary of State.
Be assured that you will be listened to fairly and courteously at all levels with a view to amicably resolving any issues or concerns you have regarding your child.
