Funding & Financials
Baysgarth School is a local authority maintained comprehensive school. We are subject to the financial procedures and regulations of the local authority and our finances are checked regularly by Governors, the local authority and external auditors. Below are the statutory financial documents we are required to publish and benchmarking information which allows all stakeholders to examine our financial robustness.
Pupil Premium
Pupil Premium is the name of the fund given directly to schools to support students who receive Free School Meals, who are in public care or young people whose parents are in the armed forces.
Pupil Premium supported students make up around 30% of our students.
Every school is required to report on how it intends to spend Pupil Premium grant for the current academic year and how it was spent in previous years. Each school has to report the impact of the spending. Please see the below documents for more information.
