Baysgarth Champions

Over the weekend, the Baysgarth Greenpower team travelled to Goodwood to compete in the Greenpower Education Trust International Finals 2024!

The excursion started with a visit to the Silverstone Museum, showing the development and enhancements of F1 over the years, and offered a chance to see up close, aspirational motoring products. The day was rounded off with with a team meal and a trip to Brighton Pier - a celebration of getting so far and an opportunity for some last minute team bonding before the big day!

An early alarm of 5.30am on race day! Paddocks set up and fine tuning of the car was underway in preparation of following in the footsteps of the greats; Jackie Stewart and Bruce McLaren - standing on the shoulders of giants.

The team performed amazingly - the car was driven further than any other Baysgarth F24 Greenpower car, clocking 14 laps...four more than the previous record, meaning the 2024 team came home as the 'Baysgarth Champions'.

Over the course of the season, there were 191 in the category we competed in, and 254 F24 cars in total. Overall, Team Baysgarth were 16th in our category - a fantastic achievement by all!
