Celebrating World Culture

At Baysgarth, there are over 30 bilingual or multilingual students, speaking over 12 languages, including, Ukranian, Russian, Turkish, Arabic, Lithuanian and Polish.

Recently, Mrs Durda established a club where students can share their language, customs and culture. The club is open for all students interested in learning new cultures and in sharing their own.

We are also planning the first 'Baysgarth World Culture Day' to be hosted in May 2025.  If any parents or carers would like to support in organising the event, please contact Mrs Durda at the school.  Any kind of contribution from people representing their ethnicity and/or language will be greatly appreciated!
