Congratulations to our class of 2024 on their amazing results...
Today, we celebrate another year of brilliant results at Baysgarth School. We are very proud of our Year 11 students, who have once again achieved some outstanding GCSE results. Through the ongoing guidance, support and care of our teaching and pastoral staff, students are leaving with some fantastic outcomes and are well equipped with the confidence and knowledge to face the next step in their journey.
Here are a few highlights from the success story of our Class of 2024:

I want to thank all of the staff at Baysgarth for everything they have done for me throughout my time at school to enable me to succeed and move onto new opportunities. The dedication and belief they have shown has been unmatched, from intervention sessions till 6.00pm to breakfast clubs at 7.00am, there has been so much support for our year group. I will always be grateful for everything the school has done for me in enabling me to take my next steps right where I want to!”
Walking away with nine qualifications, including a Grade 9 in English Literature and Grade 8 in English Language, Luke Benson is moving on to study Digital Film & Production and Sport at Franklin College. Upon opening his results, Luke said, “I didn’t expect to get these results - I’m really happy! I’d like to thank all of the English teachers who helped me achieve such amazing grades”.
Headteacher, Jade Driscoll, said, “I am incredibly proud of our amazing students and their amazing accomplishments. Despite the adversity of the pandemic, our Year 11 cohort have demonstrated resilience and determination, and have not faltered in their ambitions, which were realised today.
The results are a testament to our phenomenal staff who continuously encourage and challenge our students to be the best they can in everything they do. I would also like to extend my gratitude to our parents and carers for their continued support throughout the years. We are confident we have helped students to develop the self-belief and skills to go on and be successful in their next ventures. Everyone at Baysgarth is looking forward to seeing the wonderful things you will go on to achieve in the future. Congratulations, Class of 2024!”
Deputy Headteacher, Andy North, added, “We are once again immensely proud of our students and enjoyed celebrating their achievements today.
