Progress Tests

Students in Year 7 to 9 are taking part in a progress tests. 

Progress tests assess students' knowledge in core subjects, English, Maths and Science.  The data will give teachers an insight into what level students are currently working at and identify any gaps in knowledge.

Tests have been conducted under true exam conditions in our Sports Hall to give students an idea of what to expect in their GCSEs. 

Students were not required to revise, as tests are general and do not focus on one specific element; they were told to answer all questions and simply do their best!

This week, students in Year 7 and 9 have sat tests, and Year 8 will sit their assessments next week.  Students have behaved incredibly well so far and we look forward to being able to use the results to support students to achieve their best in Year 11!
