Remembrance Day

We are incredibly proud of our students who supported the annual Barton-upon-Humber Remembrance Day Parade and Service on Sunday 10th November. Students from Baysgarth and Castledyke were invited to be part of the official wreath laying, along with other children from local primary schools. Students conducted themselves impeccably and with respect for such a poignant and meaningful moment.

On Monday, Baysgarth observed a two-minute silence, which was preceded by Year 10 student,  Emily Peck, playing the 'Last Post' on the trumpet, which could be heard all across the school. 

Castledyke adorned their front gates with a beautiful display of poppies which had been knitted or crafted by students and other generous members of the school community. 

Lest we forget; we will always remember.
