60 students took part in our annual Summer Transition Club...

During the summer, students due to start at Baysgarth in September were invited to attend our Summer Transition Youth Club to aid with a smooth and seamless transition to secondary school.

Over the course of three days, students took part in a range of activities hosted by Baysgarth and the Get Ahead Partnership staff; they also visited local attractions, including Humber Llamas and Rand Farm; finally, students were invited to Wren, where they had a 'Road Safety' session as another layer of preparation for the coming weeks and months. 

This is the fourth year we have hosted this event and it's great to see students become more comfortable with their new learning environment, establish new friendships with their peers, and get to know staff a little better before they officially start in September.
