In the event of a school closure or a prolonged period of absence, we have developed a policy to support students access learning remotely from home. The offer set out in our policy aims to ensure that no student falls behind should such a situation occur and the principle goals are to:
- keep the minds of our children active and happy, ready to return to school and engage with learning when appropriate
- maintain a regular and familiar routine and structure
- ensure regular contact with children and other family members
- ensure a consistent approach to remote learning for students not in school
We utilise Google Classroom and Class Dojo for the majority of our lessons and resources, but if your child does not have access to the internet or a device at home, please contact the school and we will be happy to provide alternative arrangements as needed.
We recognise that each family is unique and we encourage parents/carers and children to approach home learning in a way that suits thier individual needs. Please refer to the policy below for more information or contact the school if you have any further queries.
PLEASE NOTE: The policy is under review and is subject to change.
