There is a range of choices from a hot cooked meal to a jacket potato; tomato pasta to a sandwich. Meals can be pre-ordered from home via ParentPay, which allows you to select with your child what they would like to eat.

Children in Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 are entitled to Universal Infant Free School Meals. This is an initiative from the Government to provide all children in these year groups with a free meal. However, if you think you may also be entitled to benefit free meals, we would encourage you to apply regardless of what year group your child is in, as you will also receive a uniform allowance. Your child may be able to get free school meals if you are in receipt of any of the following:

  • Universal Credit with an annual net earned income of no more than £7,400
  • Income Support
  • Income-Based Jobseeker's Allowance
  • Income-Related Employment and Support Allowance
  • Support under Part 6 of the Immigration and Asylum Act 1999
  • The guarantee element of Pension Credit
  • Working Tax Credit run-on (paid for four weeks after you stop qualifying for Working Tax Credit)
  • Child Tax Credit (with no Working Tax Credit) with an annual income of no more than £16,190

Children who get paid these benefits directly, instead of through a parent or guardian, can also get free school meals. More information on applying for benefit free school meals can be found on the North Lincolnshire Council website.

School meals need to be paid for in advance via ParentPay.

All children under the age of 5 years are given free fruit and milk each day. All infants (Key Stage 1) are given free fruit daily.
