We are proud to serve our local communities and the school has seen its popularity increase over recent years leading to the recent extensions to allow us to increase our admission number.

Despite this, we are still oversubscribed in most year groups, However, we welcome all enquiries with regards to admissions.

Students can apply to Baysgarth School via two different routes depending on circumstances:

Admission to Year 7

If your child is in Year 6 and transferring to secondary school next September and you wish to choose Baysgarth, you will need to follow the North Lincolnshire admission process.

Applications must be submitted to the Local Authority by the deadline of 31st October via the Citizen Portal here.

Places are allocated in line with the North Lincolnshire Council's coordinated Admission Scheme and applications are prioritised as follows:

  • Children who are looked after by a Local Authority and children who were previously looked after but ceased to be so because they were adopted or became subject to a residence order or special guardianship order.

  • Children who live in the school's designated catchment area.

  • Children who have a sibling attending the school at the time of their admission.

  • Children who live closest to the school.

Please visit the North Lincolnshire Council website for more specific information on how to apply.

To help you decide if we are the right school for your child and family, we run a number of open events prior to the application deadline or if you wish to have a personal tour of the school then please contact main reception who will be happy to organise this for you.

An initial meeting and tour of the school will then be arranged once all information has been collated and received.
