2022/23

Another record breaking year of results for Baysgarth School. Students performed phenomenally well despite two years of Covid disruption.

2019-2022

Due to the Coronavirus pandemic, results for 2021/22, 2020/21 and 2019/20 are not able to be compared to other schools. Our students did phenomenally well and produced amazing results but we are not reporting them on our website as there are no fair comparisons.

2018/19

Overall Progress 8 score = 0.44

Attainment 8 score = 48.2 (higher than the Local Authority average and the national average of 46.7)

EBacc average point score = 3.82 (higher than the Local Authority average of 3.78)

Percentage of students achieving a Grade 5 or higher in English = 44%

Percentage of students achieving a Grade 5 or high in Maths = 54% (higher than the Local Authority average and the national average of 49%)

Overall progress in terms of contextual value added puts Baysgarth in the top 4% of all schools nationally.

In 2019 our Art, Business, Sport and Personal Finance results are ranked in the top 2% nationally for progress.

Our high ability students achieve on average more than half a grade higher than other high ability students at other schools in both Maths and German.

Our disadvantaged students achieve on average more than a third of a grade higher in each subject than other disadvantaged students at other schools.

2017/18

Overall Progress 8 score = 0.27

Overall progress in terms of contextual value added puts Baysgarth in the top 6% of all schools.

In 2018 our Business, Biology and Personal Finance results are ranked in the top 5% nationally for progress.

Our high ability students achieve on average more than half a grade higher than other high ability students at other schools in both Maths and Science.

Our disadvantaged students achieve on average more than a third of a grade higher in each subject than other disadvantaged students at other schools.
