Safeguarding
Baysgarth School is committed to safeguard and promote the welfare of all students and staff.
At our school, we are deeply committed to creating a safe supportive, and nurturing environment where every student is known, seen and valued.
Safeguarding and promoting the welfare of students is everyone’s responsibility, and it sits at the heart of everything we do.
We maintain robust policies, vigilant staff training, and rigorous procedures to ensure that all pupils are protected from harm, neglect, and abuse. We work closely with parents, carers, and external agencies to identify risks early and provide the right support when it is needed. This page outlines our core safeguarding principles, introduces our dedicated team, and explains how we work together to keep our school community safe, happy, and healthy.
The Riverview Family of Schools Safeguarding team is:
Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL): Mr North & Miss Smith
Deputy Designated Safeguarding Leads (DDSL): Mr Brown, Mrs Hennell and Mrs Murray (Headway).
The designated teacher for Looked After Children and previously Looked After Children is Miss Smith.
Keeping Safe
